Yeah people I know this second post of the same day but I was to much excited to write the same. As you guys have downloaded the VM ware workstation now it’s time to install it is simple just open the setup n keep clicking on next as simple as that …

Once you have installed now we going to add the virtual machines

I know some of you must be knowing about but we mostly​ don’t do hacking in windows machine so we have specifically defined and dedicated operating system for pt and forensics this operating system is known as Kali Linux .

Yes it’s type of Linux actually modified os specifically for this purpose.

I will first share you the link  Download.

Now what u downloaded is an ISO image of operating system now we going to set up the Virtual machine for it

1. Start VMware Workstation and click Create New Virtual Machine.

2. Next choose the ISO which you want to install on the VMware Workstation virtual machine. 

3. Next, the Guest Operating System option should be on Linux. 

4. Set the name of the VMware Workstation virtual machine and the location at which the virtual machine will be located.

5. After that, set the disk space to at least 12 GB (we recommend 20 GB for a seamless experience).

The VMware Workstation virtual machine is set up and ready to go. The next step will be the actual installation of Kali Linux on to the VMware Workstation virtual machine.

How To Install Kali Linux On VMware Workstation: Kali Linux Installation

1.Create anew vitual machine->Select operating system type LINUX ->version :debian 64 ->Name the machine whatever you want->next allocate ram 2gb (if your system has 16gbor higher ram) otherwise 1 gb if your pc has 8 gb ram and 512 mb if your pc has 4 gb ram -> hdd basically for now allocate 60 gb in one single partition -> Finally->Turn the machine by the play triangle.

The following steps will guide you through the actual installation of Kali Linux on VMware Workstation.Review the hardware configuration and start the VMware Workstation virtual machineSelect Graphical Install. Go through normal language and time zone, host-name selection, etcetera.

1. Set your “root” password and don’t forget it.

2. Set the disk partition. It is recommended to choose “All files in one partition option” unless you know what you are doing.

3. Select hard drive and select all-in-one (for new users) unless you feel like messing around with the virtual machine.

4. SET Grub boot loader: yes and network mirror: yes

5. Click on “Finish partitioning and write changes to disk”. Choose “Yes” to continue with the partitioning.

Now, go grab a coffee and some biscuits. The Kali Linux installation process will take 15 minutes or so. When you will come back Kali Linux will be ready to go!

How To Install Kali Linux On Virtual Box:

• download it click 4 to 5 clicks all yes and ready to go

• now follow the same steps from above step 1 to step 5

6. Finish And Boot

Set the Network Mirror and boot Loader options to “Yes”. Restart your VMware Workstation virtual machine and start using your installation of Kali Linux on VMware Workstation virtual machine!
